Carl Williams writes, "Giant monster flicks used to be huge, no pun intended, but for some reason fell off the map for new movies. Sure, the more recent Godzilla movie was not received all that well by North America movie fans, which for some reason shut the door on a lot of giant monster movies. We go Pacific Rim which I believe did alright but not well enough to push the genre to the forefront again. Now, Shin Godzilla, also known as Godzilla Resurgence, is making moves to debut in theaters on October 11th in a limited theater release for one week."
