If all goes well, 2016 should wind up as a very good year for Jeff Nichols. This past weekend saw the theatrical premiere of his first major studio film “Midnight Special” (our review), and he’s got a surefire awards contender in “Loving” set to be released in November. And with “Midnight Special” coming off a strong box office showing in limited release, hopefully that means it won’t get lost in the shuffle when “Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice” comes out this Friday.
One of 2023's biggest and dumbest creature features is making waves right now on streaming around the world.
"If you are already a fan of this franchise, this is a very good option this weekend at the cinema. It's well made, the actors are great and the story/world setting is very interesting." - Bryan (Resident Entertainment)
Ashley Madison-Sex Lies and Scandal Review: The documentary refuses to take a stand on whether or not it wants us to feel bad for cheaters, infuriating viewers with its wishy washy attitude.
I do plan on seeing this movie.
It's pretty good, but don't go in expecting a crowd pleaser. I was lucky enough to get a chance to see an advanced screening of it because I live near a major market. If you are familiar with any of Jeff Nichols other films you'll have a rough idea of what you're in for.
