Madalena and Gareth's love story is progressing just as it should. It's a delight to watch these two rather awful characters experience and react to warm and fuzzy feelings for the first time. There was sadly no joke about cliffhangers, but Galavant's death did make him realize Isabella thinks Gal dumped her. Everything is fitting into place nicely, and the musical numbers are back on track after last week's shaky selections.
