Sure, Harry Potter has a fabulous Bruce Wayne-style galleon fortune left by his tragically dead parents, but not everybody in the wizarding world is so lucky — the rest of us working-class witches and wizards (yes, I’m including myself in that statement, you can’t tell me my Hogwarts letter didn’t just get lost in the mail) need jobs.
Problem is, as great as author J.K. Rowling has been about answering fan questions on Twitter about her beloved childrens’ book series, she’s been pretty silent on the notion of summer jobs. Come on, Jo, Neville Longbottom has to get his pocket money from somewhere, right?
