TVF:
This week, Killjoys Season 1 Episode 2 dropped us at Sugar Point and the worldbuilding resumed. I already feel at home in the Quad!
The humor (Johnny's one liners) is what separates this series from a show like Dark Matter. Killjoys is action-packed and grim at times sure, but the tone is generally lighter. It's much more Star Wars than Star Trek, with a dash of Blade Runner.
Even when Dutch puts her foot down, she's still endearing in a Princess Leia sort of way. Hannah John-Kamen does a terrific job bringing Dutch to life.
Ashley Madison-Sex Lies and Scandal Review: The documentary refuses to take a stand on whether or not it wants us to feel bad for cheaters, infuriating viewers with its wishy washy attitude.
Outer Range Season 2 Review: This season is as insane and slow as the last part and doesn't attempt to answer any questions, while adding on to those of the last one.
Monster Review: While this film delivers elements of horror and thriller, they're only sporadically effective, leaving the overall experience falling short of expectations.
I like these characters. The show isn't awesome but it's good for something to watch on a night that there is nothing else on. Some of is a little interesting and maybe with time it will get better.
