TV Equals: "On the latest episode of “The Originals,” Klaus and Dahlia closed in on his family and, by extension, baby Hope, in order to supposedly break Dahlia’s sleeping curse so that she and Klaus could raise Hope together, in “Fire With Fire.” But was that what was really going on? As I voiced in my last few columns, I thought it would be just like Klaus to have some sort of long-con type plan in his pocket to double cross Dahlia and prove that his real loyalties still lay with his family. In the end, that was indeed proven to be the case, though, Klaus being Klaus, he couldn’t resist causing a whole lot of pain to everyone concerned along the way."
