The Hergula: Actress Jane Lynch hosted the 67th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards ceremony, with trophies presented by the likes of Chadwick Boseman, Pierce Brosnan and the DGA President Paris Barclay. Not only that but even Bill Murray and Steven Spielberg were among the presenters, doing their part in honoring the brilliant directors of this past year. James Burrows was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Achievement in Television Direction, with Robert Butler taking home a Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Achievement in Television Direction. Phillip Goldfarb and Julie Gelfand won an achievement award each, Frank Capra Achievement Award and Franklin J. Schaffner Achievement Award, respectively. Birdman and Boyhood were among the nominated films, and Homeland together with Game of Thrones were among the TV shows which earned nominations.
