When Marvel officially announced their plans for Phase Three, one of the projects they revealed was the highly-anticipated Captain Marvel, which is set for release on July 6, 2018. With the project still over three and a half years away, we likely won't hear who will play the title character anytime soon, but one of the actresses who fans have mentioned for the role is Emily Blunt. While doing press for her Christmas Day musical Into the Woods, the actress was asked if she would be open to starring in Captain Marvel.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Who's Emily Blunt?
Meh...hopefully not
I like her but hopefully they'll pick someone else like Katee Sackhoff, Rosamund Pike or Yvonne Strahovski
I think she would be a good pick. Must suck for her knowing that she turned down black widow
I think Katheryn Winnick would be better imo, I love her in Vikings. I'm sure that whomever Marvel hires will fit the character perfectly because they've done a great job so far.
Here's a fanart of Katheryn Winnick as Captain Marvel http://i.imgur.com/H8O02OE.... isn't she sexy?
They are probably going to want somebody with some name recognition, Capt. Marvel is going to be headlining her own film isn't she? In the case of Gal Gadot playing Superwoman, at least audiences will be familiar with her from BvS.
