CB: Sony Pictures Entertainment, after sustaining weeks of abuse from hackers, has relented and cancelled the theatrical release of The Interview on Christmas Day because of terrorist threats made against movie theaters who would exhibit the film.

What a strange jump from yesterday's report of Sony editing the fatal blow of Jong-un to now cancelling the theatrical release altogether. Shame but not a surprise at this point.
