I think it was better than the first one

I liked that it wasn't a complete retread of the original but as I state in the review the black humour is missing and that was an important aspect in the first film which made it so successful for me.

I think each one has a style to it that makes both of them good in my opinion.

The first one is really riding on Jason Batemans style of dry humor, and then Charlie Day's style breaks in here and there. The second was more outrageous and relied more on Charlie Day style than Batemans.

I loved both films to be honest and could watch both multiple times!

What I really liked about this one is that they nodded towards the first film in the same beats as the first film. Basically they went to similar locations, or did quick things that were similar without just copy and pasting the entire thing.

I was honestly afraid this one was going to pull a Hangover 2 and totally suck, but they did it right. It was hilarious !
