I'll say this much for the second episode of Halo: Nightfall - it feels more like a Halo story. The first episode struggled and failed to replicate the look and tone of the series. Between the bad CG and the fact that the primary action sequence took place in a shopping mall, it didn't make the most of the robust source material. This episode at least improved in that regard. Unfortunately, it did little to improve the dull characterization, and that may be Nightfall's undoing by the end.
