The 66th Primetime Emmy nominations are in! Unsurprisingly, True Detective managed to crack the list. Less predictably, though Brooklyn Nine-Nine was quick to find a spot on the Golden Globe nominations list last year, it wasn't so successful with securing a spot on the list of nominees for Outstanding Comedy. HBO's Silicon Valley, however, did receive some much deserved love.

I was afraid that Woody and Matthew would be pitted against each other for their outstanding work in True Detective... I guess if I were to have to pick - I'd give it to Matthew. He went to some great lengths and dark places to get Rust on the screen the way he did. Either way I'd be happy though
That's great news but I would give to MM. He did such great work as that character that I would forget it was him playing the part.
Totally hope Benedict Cumberbatch is leading in the Emmys like folks are saying. He deserves it.
