How hard is it to give us a animation that they now was doing well and stick to it. Hint, hint "Young Justice" Yes Beware and the batman animation wasn't great for some but I didn't mind the different style but a lot of people prefer what WB has been giving us lately "Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox animation,

We wanted Green Lantern TAS and Young Justice, yet they cancel those and give us this and that Teen Titan Go crap, of course cancellation was inevitable.

Time for WB to leave CN behind. While Disney is knocking it out the park with marvel animation on XD, DC is struggling just to complete one damn season.

I say DC goes to Netflix. Netflix is starving for some original shows and we would be guaranteed seasons.

Bring back GL:TAS and the superior Young Justice, CN can keep that crap Titans Go.

Its ironic how the Animated films DC produces are far superior, even surpassing live action films, yet they cant seem to secure a steady high quality animated series.

They last longer than any on CN which is my point. In your opinion the Marvel Animation might suck but at least they're on their 4th or 5th season. Can't say the same for YJ, GL or this new Batman now can we.

Not a big fan of Marvel Animation myself. It's mostly tween crap. That's the problem with Cartoon Network, the tween demo is more concerned with tasteless and crude humor than they are interesting narratives. It's a shame, I might be aging myself here a bit but I still have fond memories of watching Batman TAS as a tweener - that was a damn fine show.

Also, Netflix has already made an exclusive deal with Marvel to adapt some of their properties into live action shows so I doubt a DC deal is likely.

CN animation relies on the cartoons to generate toy sales. If they don't, they stop the show (ie. Young Justice).

I don't think its the shows thats the problem, I think its Cartoon Network. They are trying to bring in low budget shows and get high ratings, neither of which these shows provide.

Young justice was doing fine, still cancelled and replaced with stoner crap.

Imo cartoon network screwed themselves cause why would anyone get into any of there shows when you know even if the show is doing well it can and will get cancelled like young justice and thundercats after they got rid of those two shows I will never get into a cartoon network show again

This and Teen Titans go were crap anyway. They both NEED to go.

My bigger problem is that those two shows existed because cartoon network got rid of GOOD shows (Young Justice and Green Lantern) to make room for them.

But then again, Cartoon Network has a long history of getting rid of GOOD stuff.

Dexter's Lab, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Samurai Jack, Ed Edd and Eddy, Justice League, Teen Titans, The OLD version of Toonami, Thundercats.

Those were ALL good shows that ended up being replaced by garbage. And there was no excuse because all of them were rated high and getting the viewers.

But it's like Soldierone said, Cartoon Network is making room for low cost garbage.

But it's limited now.

When Toonami first came out, it was a five day a week thing. And it was doing great.

But then cartoon network make "Miguzi" and regulated Toonami to being the midnight run on the weekends. Then eventually both were cut.

Toonami may be back now. But it needs to be a 5 day a week ordeal like it once was

One thing everyone seems to forget. That when it comes to kids shows its all about toy sales not just ratings. Toy sales help off set the cost of having high quality animation.

That's not entirely true. I don't recall Nickelodeon ever getting so huffy over toy sales, though to be fair I don't recall reports of any of Nick's shows ever not selling toys for their shows. Not that I really see any from them that doesn't come from Nick Jr, Spongebob, or TMNT. I believe the toys thing is just CN for the most part. And I think it's just some half-assed excuse they make for production costs or something close to it.

Yeah.... I should have said money is the bottom line and the willingness of the production ppl. Most of us loved young justice but its merchandise didnt do as well as it should have. Beware the batman is a more mature batman show that really didnt hit big in ratings or toys. CN seems to not make the best of decisions . I loved thundercats .

I disagree. When it was 5-day a week it was aimed more towards kids. While that would be cool, what they're doing now with more mature anime is fine for the time being. Plus, they already stated it is not in the budget to do anymore than what they're doing right now.

I can see your point.

But that's not a bad thing. While it was 5 days a week and more aimed toward kids they still found a way to at least find the GOOD anime shows to put on.

And at the same time, you had Adult Swim handling the mature animes on the weekends much like they do now, only without the Toonami banner latched to them.

Sure, what they're doing NOW might be fine for the time being. But it was fine the first time they created the midnight run and managed to get canceled.

The problem lies in the fact that Cartoon Network just knows how to screw up shows and ideals that work.

Good.Now what you need to do now is put that CG budget back into Green Lantern and make new episodes of it.And then make a sensible NOT CG,NOT stupid Batman cartoon with cool animation in the same level as Bruce Timm.I really don't care if you keep that junk Teen Titans Go.Just keep it away from me and give me back Green Lantern and a watchable Batman and I am good.In fact how about you bring back Batman Beyond? Now that is a good idea.
