Deadline:
Maybe NBC and Dick Clark Prods. should try to make Tina Fey and Amy Poehler permanent Golden Globes hosts? A second hosting turn by the female duo, who also are set to return in 2015, resulted in another ratings bump for the awards show last night. In time-adjusted metered-market households, NBC’s three-hour live telecast drew a 14.1 household rating/21 share, up 8% from last year, which was the Globes’ best metered-market result since 2007. Now the Golden Globes hit a seven-year high, logging their best result since the January 15, 2007 telecast (16.0/23). It was the highest rating for the awards show since introducing a host in 2010.
