Amongst Stiller’s directorial works, this one has definitely topped the list. As an actor, he has done well to portray Walter Mitty – for those connecting him to movies like Zoolander or Meet the Parents – this one is in a different league altogether. However, the adaptation from the short story could have used more work. Guess that’s the tough part about adapting a short story, you don’t have everything written out. Visuals of the movie are mind-blowing. This was completely unexpected, especially from a Ben Stiller movie.
