Back in July, Joey Ansah and Christian Howard, the creative forces behind the hit fan film short Street Fighter: Legacy, announced during San Diego Comic-Con that they had been hired by Capcom to develop a feature-length series called Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist, starring Ryu, Ken, Gouken and Akuma. Today, we have a sort of first look at that series, with the reveal of the Assassin’s Fist poster.
ThaMofo from 3rd-strike writes:
"Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist might just as well be the movie Street Fighter fans have been waiting for, even before the release of the first movie in 1996. The main characters are perfectly casted, the story gives us a great ‘backbone’ for the overall story and the action scenes are ones to be remembered."

I have said it for years that it should not be that hard to give gamers what they expect in a gaming movie or series, but for years there have been nothing but disappointments, well not all. However, there was a shining light of hope through Joey Ansah and Christian Howard who decided it was that time to make a dream come true. Street Fighter Assassin’s Fist debut on May 23rd on youtube giving us the story of Ken and Ryu on their path to becoming warriors. Take this journey with me as I did video review (spoiler free) Of Street Fighter Assassin’s Fist.
