ABC has just announced a full season pick-up for their new series "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." With only three episodes under its belt, the show's first season has been extended to a full 22 episode order with the addition of a "back 9" order.

I can't help comparing this to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and even Firefly..
..even though I know this is **Marvel, it's not a Joss Whedon original idea.
Maybe I'm just so used to the wit and humour of those shows that deep inside me wants to also see in S.H.I.E.L.D., especially when I saw August Richards ( of Angel fame ).
I do find the show somewhat underwhelming, and do hope some major event happens to give the show a big pick-me-up boost.
Gut feeling tells me we might see a few actors' from any of Joss Whedon's TV-world be given bit/or main acting parts?
