Deadline: Marking their sixth teaming, Michael Caine has been set to star in the Christopher Nolan-directed Interstellar for Paramount and Warner Bros. Caine, who worked on three Nolan-helmed Dark Knight movies, also starred in Inception and The Prestige.

there is no surprise here, this is the 6th outing of caine with nolan directing. nolan keeps the stars he likes, but caine has been a pivotal character wise and looks fitted in nolans tone in a supporting role.
