Vicki Dolley writes: "Texas Chainsaw 3D is another nail in the coffin for the modern day horror film, and it is baffling to think that this could continue into a new franchise. There are some interesting ideas here but they are handled terribly, leaving dedicated horror fans with a shambolic mess. Coupled with awful performances and writing, this will definitely not be one of 2013′s best horrors."
