Marron Marvel "Ever have a movie or a book get inside of your head? This happens a lot with horror movies, even for the most avid horror fans. A good horror movie should leave you turning on all the lights in your house in a casual, “It’s cool, I, uh, just needed to inspect the walls for structural damage at 11:30 pm, that’s all. I totally wasn’t checking for monsters or anything” kind of way."
Can this fan theory about A Nightmare on Elm Street make the series even better?
Works for me. I'm not a horror afficionado, at all, but I have somehow seen most of these. There is merit in what you say.
Meh, I prefer New Nightmare to stand the way it is. The idea of Freddy being the personification of some otherworldly essence that needs to be trapped by telling stories sounds way better than having a completely disjointed story that skips over entire films. It also works to explain why they kept making more of them after they started getting really stupid.
Dick Ward writes: "Sure, you could go out and buy or rent a boatload of new DVDs and Blu-rays for your Halloween party. But why go through all that trouble when you can just add a boatload of great horror flicks to your Netflix queue?"
Hello Netflix! I watched almost everything you have! :P
Id like to use Netflix to watch these, but we have like the entire weekend filled with things to do so it probably wont happen. Plus my GF is stll trippin from PA2 haha!
