Lex has been written a whole number of a lot of different ways. His first appearances in the comics originally had him with a full head of hair; the "bald" schtick only happened as a result of an artist's mistake, but then they explained the baldness into official canon.

Love the Jeremy Irons choice. But woah!!! Jesse Eisenberg as Lex? I'm, i uh... totally unexpected. Don't get me wrong Jesse is a great actor, i mean he didn't received a Golden Globe and Academy Award nomination in the Best Actor category for nothing. An he IS Cavill's age. Even so I would have never considered him as Lex. We'll see how this pans out. Next destination, Imdb Batman Vs. Superman boards!!!
But he didn't mess up Daredevil. Daredevil suffered from mediocre writing, which then gave mediocre performances. They wanted a dark gritty violent movie yet pushed for a lighter Pg-13 rating (Kinda felt stuck in between to where even the writers probably didn't know what they were trying to make it). Also seeing Daredevil running around, fighting crime to Evanescence tunes isn't what i consider badass. That movie was doomed way before Affleck was cast.

I doubt it. Alot of people have come to accept/or at least wait & reserve judgement until they see footage of Affleck. The internet isn't the "OH MAH GAWD WTF AFFLECKZ!!?!" mess it was back when Affleck was announced. There's more Aquaman, Joaquin Pheonix, Batsuit, or Jason Momoa rumors than Affleck hate at this point.

You're wasting your time explaining buddy. Some idiots lack perception, if the person cast doesn't look like a superhero from the get-go (Which not one of the greats did, Hugh Jackman, Robert Downey Jr., Christian Bale, Micheal Keaton, Heath Ledger, Henry Cavill, Ron Perlman.) all looked like average joes before being cast in their respective roles. But they just can't see it. Lord knows hair dye & work out regiments don't exist.
