Correction.
Mind-blowing Movie.
Rango, Tin Tin, or (it's a long shot) Kung Fu Panda. Those are my guesses anyway. I sure hope it goes to Rango.
If you've never been, imax is actually really cool. I've only been to one so I'm not sure if my experience was typical, but the screen was enormous. A little lager than the average basketball court. And it has a slight arc so you can see almost all of it at once. And the sound matches the size of the screen. It's really cool and despite the higher price, I would always choose imax over a regular theater given the choice.

I'm with you. I'm too old to be watching cartoons (by societies' standards anyway) but I still do... I enjoyed Johnny Test for a while, but recently I think it's gone downhill and I haven't seen a new one in ages. But Looney Tunes is surprisingly witty and I can appreciate the work that's gone into the reboot. Also Gumball is pretty awesome. My name is Perry so everytime I meet somebody, without fail, they ask, "Oh like Perry the platypus from Phineas and Ferb?&qu...
That's exactly what they did in April 2010. The opened Pixar Vancouver to produce shorts, tv-specials, and the occasional movie. While the Pixar in Emeryville handles the meat of the work. Just fyi.
Which is awesome! For a while I was worried Pixar might be starting to ride the coattails of it's previous successes, especially after the tragedy known as Cars 2. Obviously they haven't and don't plan on giving up the originality that makes them so special. I couldn't be more excited.
Furthermore, I am really happy to finally hear about a dinosaur themed movie. I remember seeing some concept art with dinosaurs in it, in one of their interview vids a few year...
In nearly every picture, Batman looks REALLY high...
Aw SH*T.
I am really looking forward to this, but those photos look just like the original. Lets see- beating up a high school bully with new found powers *check*, donning a homemade costume to fight petty crime *check*, villan gets unexpected powers from self-experimentation *check*, Aunt May and Uncle Ben worried about Parker's strange new habbits *check*. I realize they are telling the same story, but that doesn't mean you can't use a little originality. Albeit some things have changed ...
I was so worried about this one. But it seemed doomed to fail. I mean, Pixar went from Cars 1 which was about small town values, friendship, and community- to Cars 2- about international spies. That's like making Toy Story 4 about Andy taking Woody to World War 3 as an adult. It just ignores all the core values that made the first one so special and replaces them with explosions.
However, I think this is only a bump in the road with Pixar. Their upcoming movie, Brave, loo...
Yeah I cant help but disagree with many movies on the list. Namely- Signs, War of the Worlds, the Da Vinci Code, and the Hangover 2. Also, Indiana Jones may not have been up to par with its predecessors, but it was by no means a bad movie. And he also says The Last Airbender was an idiodic story for a movie. No way. Airbender was a greatly realized cartoon and had a great story. Shyamalan just screwed it up beyond repair.
The grainy look and choppy fps might get annoying after awhile, but I just love sci fi movies like this. Looking forward to it.
I liked The Spirit. But that's just me.
"It takes place in an apocalyptic future where most of the population lives in clouds above an earth surface that has been rendered uninhabitable."
Sounds like a live-action, mature version of the Jetsons. XD
This truly is a collection that does the Harry Potter franchise proud. But I almost gagged when I saw that price tag. It's an amazing collectors item, but half a grand... Ouch.
