I know, I can't believe Carl is leaving the show/lulz
Black Company would probably translate best to the screen. Fantasy war novels and great ones at that.
The answer is a resounding YES.
The Halloween song makes it Halloween, but What's This makes it Christmas!
Miracle on 34th Street is a classic Christmas Movie as is It's A Wonderful Life. A Christmas Story, Elf, etc. etc. etc.
You could argue that National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation isn't a Christmas movie because it is about a guy who tries to do right by his family and get a bonus from his boss... with a christmas backdrop.... /sarcasmic
Quotes from Die Hard on IMDB
John McClane: You throw quite a party. I didn't realize they celebrated Christmas in Japan.
Theo: All right, listen up guys. 'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, except... the four assholes coming in the rear in standard two-by-two cover formation.

Did I miss the part where it died? Because, I don't remember that at all... Checks IMDB just to make sure.... nope, didn't die at all, his career has been astounding from the beginning to the last. No thanks. A video depicting muslims as violent results in muslims being violent. How ironic.
Batman wearing Iron Man's helmet... how... original.

I agree about Lucas, but the last two directors (The Wachowski Siblings) might have a hit with Cloud Atlas. It appears intriguing and wonderful. It seems to have wowed at Toronto.
Remember, Nicolas Cage was in Kick Ass. And he played the role perfectly. This might be good news!
Aquaman? Seriously? One of the worst superheroes ever conceived.
I want a Legion of Doom!
Not only that, but does suing bring your loved one back from the dead?
"Those who can, do. Those who can't, criticize." Truer words were never spoken.
Scratching my head at Antman and Guardians. Sure, some might like the comics but I don't think they translate to screen as well.
Favorite Character WAS Anakin Skywalker...before Lucas/ Christensen ruined him.
