Was this movie as predictable and lame as the trailers made it seem? Or was it actually good?
I didn't really care for the advertising of Edge of Tomorrow so I withheld watching it. I just watched it recently and my goodness it has to be one of his better films. I hope they follow that up somehow, the gamer in me wanted more.
I wasn't expecting so much hate, I was just being sarcastic lol
He probably would have brought back Jar Jar just to annoy fans.
I think the R rating hurt it a bit. I think they could have easily toned it down for theater release, then put the R rating on the Blu-ray release. They could have told the same story without the two or three scenes that make it R rated.
Overall though it's a great film that I'll be watching again.
Honestly almost went to see this because it's the only thing moderately decent in theaters at the moment.
Why doesn't it come out now instead. I haven't been to the theater in probably two months now......
The Tick, The Mask, Howard The Duck, or maybe he can be Powder Toast Man? :D
Hollywood doesn't understand niche success. It wasn't liked due to the movie itself, it was liked because of the performance. They go an make this remake thinking the name alone is why people like the movie and it will fail. Especially since they are tossing the role to anyone that is willing to walk in the door.....
I think it was all interesting, I just don't understand why anyone that still cares about the Simpsons always have to compare it to McFarlanes shows. I personally would take American Dad any day of the week, but I can't sit through the Simpsons anymore.
The problem with movies like this is that they let them sit forever. Over a year ago and the script is still being developed? You can write a script in a few months, and the fact it is based on something makes it even easier as the layout is there.
I'd understand if Hollywood were making some groundbreaking films with these properties, but they aren't. By the time this movie ever gets released, if it isn't killed first, the fad will be long over and the audienc...
Joker will probably be saved for something a little bigger than a stand alone film. That or it will be a really dark and gritty stand alone film, I don't think you jump right into the best story you have.
I'm actually surprised because the whole list is a good choice
I'm hoping this is a end credits scene for Justice League somehow, and then he goes into Batman. He seriously destroys batman all the time so it will be fun to watch!
The Wrap had exclusive coverage stating the main villain for the batman movie is deathstroke. This footage could still be from justice league, but the main villain is still deathstroke.
I enjoyed it. I think it sucks Sony released the game first and now everyone is trying to say the movie stole the games cutscenes, when it wasn't like that. The game was a movie based title, it was using cutscenes from the film. That idea is nothing new, but since it released a week early people think otherwise. (The movie was in development before Insomniac even announced the game. And the movie was delayed by a year to release alongside the game.)
That doesn't sound interesting in the slightest. Pretty sure they are hoping to just bank off his name for at least a season.
@Justy Pretty sure everyone knows this, and I'm not stupid lol
The point is that she played Gwen, which is a blonde. People got mad because they assumed "oh she's a redhead though!!!" And she isn't. She changed her hairstyle to fit the roles she was given. Zendaya has a photoshopped image of her being a redhead and she actually looks good with red hair.
(Really didn't think I'd have to spell that out.)
But look at it in the big picture.
Jurassic World isn't anything "new" but when is the last time we have had a dinosaur movie? Or anything related to that? Maybe a few smaller budget flicks, but that's it. So a dinosaur movie sounded awesome and people went because it wasn't like the superhero movies sitting next to it. It was also entertaining and fun to watch.

Negan is full of himself and has to play off as a boss character. He has to be over the top otherwise you wouldn't believe everyone kissing his feet over everything. He's also been around this type of stuff for a while so it isn't anything dramatic to him at this point, he enjoys it now.
Glenn also was a caring character, and had plenty of emotion in that scene. TONS no matter how you look at it. Plus it completely changed Maggie right away to where she becomes...
