The entire time I saw him I thought he'd be a better Riddler with how he portrayed Luthor. I mean he was borderline psychotic, Riddler would have been perfect.

In the movie he says he grabs a box or suitcase of her belongings and other stuff, but decided to leave the alcohol behind. In my opinion if he is really dead set on surviving there is no reason to leave alcohol behind, it can be used for all kinds of things.

Plus her car was right next to the entrance.

In my opinion a plot point like that is no different than Superman and Batman connecting because of the name of their mom.

If you are that passionate about why it is utter crap, then why not explain why? All the people that like the film are explaining why they like it, but the people that hate it are simply just saying they hate it and nothing else.

I enjoyed both for very different reasons. They are two entirely different films in every way.

Also 10 Cloverfield Lane wasn't a perfect movie either and had very similar plot holes or random moments to carry forward.

SPOILER for example he just randomly decides to leave the alcohol behind (which she had for whatever reason) and she just so happens to blow up an entire space ship with a small Molotov? People were literally laughing in my theater when sh...

Here is the thing, most websites function as a whole. So you have one person review Movie A, then another reviews Movie B. Problem is both people have their respective tastes.

Why have someone that has absolutely no knowledge of DC Comics review this movie? It's a dumb mistake, and thus the person rates it poorly because they have no idea what the significance of anything is.

The mainstream critics don't have anybody. They will rate the most boring ...

That's what I've been saying. There is like one or two people going around to every positive comment going "well Transformers...."

Yeah, well what about Iron Man 2 and 3? They cry "but the plot is broken" Really, because Marvel's plots are totally logical? lol Like I've been saying, throw Marvel's logo up there and these critics are not as harsh simply because it's "cool" to hate DC and love Marvel.

It's just funny to me that it's so "cool" to hate DC that people above are defending blatantly terrible movies to try and knock this movie. It wasn't the most amazing movie ever made, but it was better than most of the Marvel movies.

I bet you throw Marvel's logo on their and all these negative nancy's get their panties out of their crack in a heart beat. Watch the Civil War reviews, that will without a doubt have the same typical Marvel flaws, ...

Honestly can't believe people are going to extents of trying to defend the Sharknado reviews.... lmao

But, but, but the "critics" said it was garbage! haha

Problem with your examples is none of them were good according to audiences either.

Perhaps if they were not harsh to every single major release, we'd actually be able to filter them properly? Since DC is making money with this one and will be a big success, reviews will back track and rate them more favorably now that it isn't "cool" to hate them.

It's the problem with most reviewers. A movie can't just be "good" or decent. It always has to be amazing or terrible. They find one thing they don't like and rate it terrible....

The thing is, when critics are this harsh about a major release it is always good. It's almost so apparent that'd I'd tell reviewers to bash my movie lol

Typically in modern day comics these three characters are like that. The funny remarks and "brighter" characters will complement them in future movies if it is done right. That's how the books are at least.

DC has a good mix of dark tones with more fun characters pushing them.

Not going to lie, this TV cut was probably better than their more extended cuts early on.

2954d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Why? I rather have TV shows. Unless this has a theater run to make back that money, it makes no sense to me.

They could use all that money to secure more licenses, or develop cheaper drama/comedy shows that will last longer....

Its testing well so far, but yeah a lot hinges on this single film. If people hate it or it somehow bombs, WB will probably just crawl into a hole. I doubt that happens at all though.

That is most likely what will happen. Remember Indiana Jones is with Disney now, they won't make just one movie and move on.

I'll bet whoever is replacing him will most likely be introduced in this film. Hopefully it doesn't fall flat like Shia Labouf.

I loved Cloverfield, but in a way I left thinking this one was better.

Not going to lie the whole making it a "cloverfield" is what made me go see it, but I'm glad I got tricked. If it wasn't good I would have left and never saw a Cloverfield movie again.

That being said I left questioning the movie, thinking about small details, and wondering what theories are right regarding the characters. There are so many ways too approach what happen...

I got tickets for Saturday! I've been around several communities as we discover all the clues for the ARG, so far I've only seen maybe 2 people say they didn't like it. The rest have said they will be seeing it again.

I love that Spider-Man is in it, and I love that his eyes finally move.

The one thing I really badly want changed in future costumes is the chest logo. It's way too small.
