I'm loving this footage, can't wait for the film to release :D
This is looking really good. Can't wait to see it!
When I see the title of this movie I already think "Bruce Willis". I think it'll be a natural fit.
Pretty decent read, but the author seems to have missed the point of the bomb and bane's speech.
Bane's intention was never to actually give the city back to the people. Bane was more interested in giving people hope of survival before taking it all away in a single blast, much like the Lazarus Pit (e.g. the jail) that he found himself in until he was taken out by Ra's. The light at the top gave people hope, but the inability to reach it crushed those hopes. It wa...
Saw a trailer for this before Expendables 2.. Didn't think it looked all that good.
That really depends on what you're comparing it to..
Depp created the character of Jack Sparrow as well..
It's great to see Arnold in films again, and I look forward to seeing some of them.
Stopped reading after number 10, as it's far too obvious the guy is nitpicking. It'll be just as easy to come up with 99 reasons The Dark Knight sucked, or any movie in general.
"wasn't supposed to have aged since his adventures in the Hobbit"
That's actually incorrect. The ring never stopped the aging process, as otherwise Gollum would still look the same as when he acquired the ring. Instead, it slowed down his aging process, keeping him alive well beyond the age of the average hobbit.
How a 50 year old hobbit generally looks is open to interpretation, but since their expected life is ~100 years, I'd say that...
Thought it was better than the Dark Knight...
I don't know if I like the idea of a reboot very much. The old film was great, and if other movies with similar themes to Jumanji are any indication of what to expect, I'd rather they stay away from the film.
"The Hobbit", despite its name, does not solely revolve around or use the material from the book. Whilst that's the underlying story it's built around, it uses the appendices of the Lord of the Rings, as well as material from the Silmarillion. In addition, it uses that material to build further stories revolving around Gandalf, and where he went in the long times he was absent during the Hobbit.
The thing that gives me confidence in this decision is that it...
Looking forward to it. Season 4 was great :D
Budget was ~$220 Million, and world wide box office is currently at ~$150 Million, so it's in a very comfortable position I'd say.
I didn't read the book, which may or may not alter my perception of the movie. I just got back from watching it, and I really enjoyed the movie for what it was.
They've made a very good start by taking out Shia. He and his character are annoying beyond comprehension.
lol, I read this title and I immediately thought of Liam Neeson in Taken. I open the article, and lo and behold, Liam Neeson in Taken is in the list.
Can't wait :) 5 months is just too long :|
"The Director walked, studio did not want Jackson but had to take him. they are adding characters not in the books and stretching it out to cash grab a third movie."
None of that is actually true or accurate.
Del Toro walked because of licensing issues which were taking too long, and he wasn't going to have time to direct any more.
Peter Jackson wasn't originally going to direct because of different commitments, including Lo...
