This is either my brain rationalizing the stupidity of some people, or it's seeing things from a 9gag point of view.

But I don't get the feeling any of those commentators were actually being serious. I feel they were being as satirical as the original post.

I think that was pretty much a given lol

When I first read the title I saw "Universal Eyes Dwayne Johnson for 'The Johnson Directive'"

I'd imagine there's a chance the teaser appears before Interstellar. It'd be a year ahead of the film's release, and attached to a film with a similar audience.

It'd be similar to the way Super 8 was marketed.

Sean Bean in an irreplaceable (thus theoretically unkillable) lead role.. How many seasons do we give him?

a bit of a pointless article.. Godzilla, Iron Man and the Hulk were never intended to be scientifically accurate. They're fantasy films where our laws of physics don't really apply.

For anyone curious about the score - the author loved the film but marked it down because she wanted more female characters in the cast.

I think it's First Class that righted the ship. Matthew's addition to the series was the best one I had seen. Until now - I saw Days of Future Past yesterday, and came out of the cinema mighty impressed. I paid too much for the cinema tickets, which gutted me going in, but coming out I felt I could've paid twice that and still felt it was worth the money.

I'm calling it - Sean Bean's character is going to die. On top of the fact that it's Sean Bean, it also seems like he's playing a mentor-character of sorts, so it's practically a given.

One flaw in this writing - the author keeps saying "the theories fall apart when you realize they don't have a daughter with the name Skye" is incorrect. In SHIELD it's stated various times that Skye is a name she made up herself, not one that was given to her by her parents or anyone else. That means we don't know her real name yet, and she could easily be one of the comic's characters.

This was a really good finale, I loved it. One of the best I've seen in quite some time.

Do you do anything but post comments about how much you hate.. well, pretty much every series in existence? Perhaps you should stop watching TV?

If you don't like SHIELD, that's fine. Just stop watching and wasting your time, and then complaining that they renew the show. The renewal shows that there's still plenty of people that do like the show.

A sad ending? The ending was never meant to be sad. The whole point of it was to explain why Ted had taken 9 seasons to talk about the mother, in which the only thing he really did was talk about Robin.

It wasn't just pain, he had lost hope. The reason that he didn't show up at the funeral was because he believed he was beaten down by Slade, and that there was no way out but his death.

I felt the episode was quite good, and I look forward to the finale.

To be fair though, with his sister kidnapped you can't exactly expect him to make rational decisions from that emotional state.

* Spoilers * (obviously, considering you're reading comments about the finale)

I think the finale worked. Throughout the entire series Ted had only one consistent love interest, which he gave up on during the final season. Whilst he loved the mother, if the story had been truly about her, she would have played a much bigger part in the story line than Robin. Ted has been in love with Robin since the first episode all the way to the last, so when the mother passed away, I&...

If you thought the flashbacks were pointless, you simply misunderstood what they were for. The flash backs were there to establish the road that Rick had taken from then to now, and to refresh our memory on some small details that were incredibly important later in the episode.

They'll greenlight it. I suppose it's a bit more difficult because of the Jerry Bruckheimer situation.

Wonder what that means for National Treasure 3.. They've been writing that script for years.

Why isn't Peter Sellers on this list?

Then I am confused. If the show sucks, why are you reading articles about it? You can't possibly be sad enough to enter articles about it just to comment on how much it sucks, right?
