There were a lot of cliches in that trailer.
Looks like a bunch of has-been actors trying to capitalize on a bunch of licensed video game characters.
And an Adam Sandler movie on the wrong side of the turn of the century.

My problem with MOS's Jonathan Kent is that he offered no real guidance to Clark. He just contradicted himself a dozen times with a bunch of trailer fodder lines.
I don't want them to use the "Bella" style of facial expressions.

I don't think I've seen them - at least the Scarlett witch - make any other face in any of the previews.
The Dark Knight Returns is so overrated, but I guess that the Joker in that series is okay.
And when was Supergirl's hair color of any consequence? Yet look what they did. Physical iconography is part of the character.
And you seriously go around calling people "close minded" over stating that a character that has been one way for decades is "iconic" to them? You must be fun at parties.

Jimmy is a redhead. That is an iconic part of the character, like Supergirl being blonde (which they went out of their way to replicate even though the actress isn't blonde....hypocrites).
The media is trying too hard with handling racial diversity.
Looks like they're trying waaaaaay too hard to make her "not fan service because she's a strong independent woman" and forgetting that revealing and form fitting costumes are the norm of both genders. They truly chose the most bland, conservative design that they could.
I mean, really? Hosiery under those boots? That collar/neckline (I'm not saying she should be showing a bunch of cleavage, but they could have done SOMETHING less bland)? Not midriff?...

Exactly. Black superheros are already making their way into the TV/movie universes. The more popular characters just happen to be white ones and got their time in the spotlight first as the "Comicbook Superhero" genre solidified itself in movies/TV.

People want to see their favorite characters portrayed the way that they are in the comic books. It's that simple, really. And if they change the race of the main character, you know that they'll slap a hackneyed "Did you know that racism is bad...
Why should the character's original ethnicity get bumped from first tier characters?
These sites frequently just submit/approve their own articles.
That would be a really weak/dishonest title for that.
