Jack Black getting nominated for Bernie is probably the biggest surprise there. Never thought he'd get recognized for that role.

The trailer looks like it might go to new depths, and the synopsis suggests a more intimate story. My main enthusiasm is coasting on Shane Black's ability to write and direct this film. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was great, and I think he might be able to bring something out of RDJ that the previous directors couldn't.
This show is looking better and better. Mads Mikkelsen playing Hannibal Lecter is really all I needed though.
As long as Lester Speight does Cole Train I'll see it. But, I have almost zero hope in this adaptation.

Three movies when there should only have been one, maybe two. Then they give an extended edition too? You have got to be kidding me. I really don't want to watch this anymore because I can't get behind people who take my money.
Richard Kelly is ambitious. That's why I'll see this in theaters. I'm expecting a visually striking film, and with Cage as lead actor, there should be at least some good acting. There's always one Cage film that's enjoyable every couple years, at least.
2019 is fine. I will gladly wait 6 more years for a reboot, seeing as how it is pretty unlikely any will top Nolan's trilogy. If Snyder is still making movies and hasn't been forced into obscurity, he'll likely end up being the director.
