There won't be a Transformers 4. There would be a new director, completely new cast, and an altered timeline. This clearly points to "reboot."
Those who have seen 3 know that they're not continuing that story.
And in the case of a reboot, it's likely the human characters will be downplayed, since that was a large complaint about this trilogy. Not that statham would really "fit" anyways. I just don't see it happening.

Go figure a fox rep replies that its "way off" as that is what they always say when something gets leaked without proof. The funny thing is how completely vague their official synopsis is, it doesn't dispute anything from the leak so in fact both could be completely true.
People have become complacent at setting the bar low so if a movie does anything but flatline they'll praise it as good.
I don't mind a movie being based on action and thrills, but that seems to be a free pass nowadays. If its "supposed" to be a summer blockbuster then action is all that matters, and awful dialog,acting,plot can all be forgiven cause it was just meant to entertain. I just can't accept that.

It was hit and miss both at the same time. There was some very cool action, like anytime magneto uses his powers. But the focus is spread way too far.
Between telling the tale of prof x and magneto, and that of creating the xmen team, plus the villians and their agenda, there was no time for introductions with so many characters. They went ahead and tried adding personal stories, but it seems really tacked on.

I don't understand why they're remaking this, its only a few years old and has already been dubbed into English. They're just replacing all the actors and filming it all over again, despite the fact that noomi rapace has been highly praise for her performance in it. I think they need better advertising, cause a few I never even heard of and others I didn't think would be funny so I didn't make it a priority to watch, maybe it's time for second chances.

The love story in Thor is tacked on. There's really no development between the 2. Shes drawn to him cause he's lost and alone and needs her help, then they just reciprocate it cause they need a romance in the story. Its not relevant to the plot, nor does it really make sense because they have nothing in common and spend all of two days before he leaves, yet somehow they're deep in love by the time the credits role.

I guess. I don't mind all out action flicks, but transformers 2 had so much potential and just gave it all away for nothing. The jokes were horrid, the plot made no sense, they threw in so much trash from the ghetto twins to the sexy fem-bot with a tail. It just blows my mind how they thought they could just cram more and more useless stuff in. The computer graphics and action was good, but its like trying to enjoy fine dinning at a landfill, you just can't ignore it.
Pirates, Cowboys and Aliens, Conan, and Kung Fu Panda 2 will probably be good.

This movie's gonna fail. I don't know why they waited so long. The book was weak compared to the LotR and any anticipation for this movie has long dried up. Not to mention dorfs and hobbits have the least amount of mass appeal, and the general public is not all that interested in the genre to begin with. I just don't see this being very popular, maybe opens at number 1 but dies down quick.
