This film is disgusting...period.

I don't care WHAT message it "metaphorically" makes, its a sick, sick film and does not deserve to see the light of day.

I....cannot....wait!

Are you serious Alycakes? How else could we back it up.

Im just going to take ONE to prove my point. You said "I can't believe they have Transformers on that list either.." - well let's look at the evidence.

The list is 10 films that made serious $, but sucked serious...and The Transformers is the epitome of that.

http://www.rottentom...

It's very surprising how much it did make Dark lord - in no way record-breaking, but remarkable nevertheless.

The Hangover 2 was horrible; its lack of unoriginal material was painful, especially as I was a huge fan of the original.

So, to say that is unbelievable. And Transformers 2? Really?

A truly foolish review...this movie is NO WAY a 5/5 film....please do not believe this, look at the vast majority of other scores.

However, everyone is entitled to their own opinion..but I feel this is OTP.

Just how websites do it Jocosta. Also, did you stop to think that maybe the torrent format is put like the episode number?

This is terrible news.

Anyone with an idea on what makes an animated comedy funny will have stopped liking Family Guy since about season 6. There is no effort, no resolve and, more worringly, no laughs anymore. I have been a fan since the very start, but even I realise just how s**t it has got.

Seth MacFarlane has well and truly sold his soul. $500,000 an episode to see a 9 minute fight scene of two old guys hardly doing anything, with dramatic music thrown ...

Tbh guys, I was surprised with the choices myself - and I have been writing about film for years! Yet the arguments she puts forward for each are convincing.

I TOO think Hancock was a disappointment, along with Terminator and the Matrix sequels (the 3rd mainly). Hurt Locker was an odd one - I liked it but I agree it didn't deserve the acclaim it achieved. Apart from that, I'm not really sure.

Again though, everyone had different opinions.

Hi Armadilo,

There is a link to the episode (on BBC Iplayer) at the bottom of the article :)

Hope you liked the review - Calvin is an out and out Doctor fan, so I pretty much go with everything he says haha

Well it's an odd one.

I loved the books, but have to agree it dragged at times. Don't get me wrong, they were awesome, but they still had the tendency to drag.

Man, The Return of the King should have finished at LEAST 30 minutes before it actually it!

Gotta agree with "Newn4gguy" - well, to a degree.

However, for me this list has NO credibility if it does not include Danny Trejo...the man has made a living out of type-casting.

Think on next time.

@Soldierone - On the whole, I generally agree with all your comments, but I cannot on this occasion.

Tokyo Drift was a terrible film, with everything from the acting to the idea being downright ludicrous. I hated the protagonists accent and just thought that the idea of a Deep South American beating a highly-skilled, Japanese drifter was totally unbelievable.

As much as I would like to, I can't help but worry about this. Vin Diesel vs The Rock will be im...

@ M_D - think about it. He - a fully-abled individual - spend two months entirely in a wheel chair. The hunched position put extra pressure on the ribs, causing him to break two. It's sort of similar to a small collision - intense pressure on the ribs can't be good...

Totally agree mate - I cannot even begin to imagine how little he must have ate!

Tbh, did you read this piece? The Daniel-Day Lewis one is unbelievable...talk about suffering for your art!

4798d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah @Soldierone - what movies do you have in mind?

I think the piece is great - even if it is on the site I work for. It really breaks down and describes exactly why people like/dislike Owen Wilson.

I myself like the guy. Sure, he's not the best actor in the world - and I agree he is not an actor that would get me to the cinema purely because he was involved - but he's fun to watch. Also, the fact that he overcame his past troubles is an endearing qu...

@Soldierone - it's a critics award ceremony at the end of the day mate. If your critically acclaimed, your bound to do well.

@ _JL_: Woops - I stand corrected.

"Christian Bale (Dicky Eklund) is a revelation, playing possibly the most charismatic character in his career and underpinning the role with a real dark side." - were his actual words :D

I myself just can't 'get' Bale. I know the ...

Hey Murderdolls.

I haven't seen it - but the guy who reviewed it for us at shadowlocked said he was decent. Decent though; not extraordinary, or impressive.

But how often do you see a film run off with awards that it doesn't deserve?
