Literally, the "prequel" is within the story since it relies on flashbacks. The only way I can think of a different prequel would be in Russia, where -apparently- it all started. I still can't see either a prequel or sequel happening though.
Completely agree, that ending was a huge disappointment. We could foresee what was coming about an hour before the film ended, and it didn't close anything for the story. I mean...are humans now needing to "de-volve" and become blind in order to survive?
Yeah, I didn't fix it because the official synopsis states 2024, but if you actually read the review, you can see how I mentioned the year that is said in the movie.
I've gotten a few friends and readers telling me that the score is a bit low for the film. The thing in our reviews is that we rate each "category" (the ones that appear at the bottom of the review) and the system calculates the final score. I really loved this movie, but it had some issues that just stopped me from giving it a higher score
That's one example. When I was going to watch BvS and Suicide Squad I faced that same situation. Everyone I casually talked to about them simply said that they weren't going to pay to watch those movies because [insert_big_site_name_here] said the movie was awful...
That's what I thought at first, but I've seen a trend going lately, and while listening to coworkers and friends talk about movies, I see that there are way too many people paying too much attention to those reviews. I even have friends who decided not to watch certain movies and wait "until they are released online" because reviews from the biggest sites were really bad
It had its moments, but I wanted it to end after the first 40-ish minutes.
