She's a terrible Mystique. She's literally playing Katniss Everdeen in a blue suit.

For what they tried to do with it and the amount of things it had going on in the film, it wasn't THAT BAD. I mean, one could say any movie could be better than what it was, and everything has flaws.

But for this having Batman and Superman fight each other, and have Wonder Woman, and tease and lay the foundation for the other DC heroes to come, I think it did a decent job. Not an amazing job, but not a horrendous job.

I think it was an 8/10 for what they...

Now, if only it can hit 800M to be safe and considered a profit. I can't wait to see it happen, so I know that the future is secured for this new and exciting DC movie universe.

Hopefully Jon Stewart for their GL. I'd love Michael Jai White for that role, or Idris Elba.
That would be awesome imo if the JL movie is like Justice League War.

Agreed. I hope it makes however much it needs to keep Zack Synder on board. People may not like the way he's handles Superman and Batman, but I applaud him for giving us a new and refreshing live action version of these characters, rather than using the Batman and Superman we've already experienced.

Don't forget that the "Director's Cut" R rated Bluray comes June 16th and that is going to have 35mins of additional footage. Might be the difference be...

You must be new to film. For the average director's cut, it might add a couple seconds or minutes to a movie, but for the ones that add an extra 25+ minutes, it can make an improvement upon the movie, and tie up loose ends.

It's not just plot points there wasn't time for, it's that studios don't like it, or don't think audiences will be able to tolerate the length of the film. For the kind of audience who only really likes mindless action with little t...

The Director's Cut of Daredevil wasn't bad. It fixed a lot of things wrong with the film, and sadly one of the biggest things these days is that people write the movie off after viewing the theatrical version, when really the Unrated or Director's Cut version of the film are the director's real vision of the film to judge.

But no, the reviewers have shit taste, and I guess they expected the movie to be Gone With The Wind or something. BvS for me is a 8.5/10 <...

This movie proves don't trust reviews for shit. Personally, I think the movie was a solid 8.5/10. The people who didn't like it thought it was going to be a Marvel movie, don't like comicbook movies, are hypersenstive, or hate Zack Snyder.

Ben Affleck was an amazing Batman, and the best Batman portrayal we've had to date. Jessie Eisenberg was WAY better than I thought he would be, and so was Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman. The movie was not the Spider-Man 3 fest...

He did play Alexander. He stated in the movie several times that "my father was the one who put the Lex in Lexcorp"

You clearly don't get Batman. If you can't tolerate Zack Synder, than why watch anything he makes in the first place? That's like saying you don't like video games with guns and you turn around and buy Call of Duty to complain about how it uses guns in it.

I think you'd be better off sticking to Disney movies if you can't handle mature themes and real world issues in a fantasy setting.

@coolbeans

I thought she was a welcome addition as a "new" character coming from what we got with Season 1. I liked certain things from the Director's Cut of the Ben Affleck Daredevil, and Elektra wasn't one of them, so it was nice to see a more fleshed out version of the character rather than just having the one from the cinematic universe. xD

The problem is they have too much weight now when their input is taken into consideration, and it&...

It's funny as I found her to be the most interesting character and my favorite character for this entire season.

For the "people don't know how to make female characters" argument, it's hard to even attempt to make a female character because with feminazi's on the rise, no matter how you do anything female related, they're going to get on twitter and tumblr and bitch about how they're misrepresented and done unto, because you can't pleas...

@ace

No, I'm upset at biased people being hypocritical. It's like people are too dumb to realize that there are multiple continuities for every comic book character. There's a Spider-Man that kills people. There's a female Thor. Flashpoint Batman (Thomas Wayne) uses guns and kills criminals. There's alternate universes of X-Men characters that are evil and kill civilians.

I think one of the problems is that critics already don't like ...

The problem is mainstream moviegoers are so used to the kid friendly tone of the Avengers, that when they go see a more serious film like Man of Steel or Batman Vs Superman, they don't like it. It's not full of laughs the majority of the movie, and it's not dumbed down enough for them.

People shat on Man of Steel because Superman killed the big villain in the movie, because he HAD to. The villian was going to literally use his eye lasers to kill a bunch of civilia...

Spider Man is roughly 25-27 years old in the Civil War comic arc, and in this movie he sounds like he is maybe 7 years old, and the actor for him looks no older than 13. Doesn't sound like they are being faithful to the source material at all. He also doesn't fit well with the majority of the other actors being in their early 30's to 50's.

I was skeptical of Ben Affleck as Batman at first, but when I saw the trailers I was reassured. I was skeptical of Andrew ...

Of course, kill the background character that has no impact on the audience at all, but pretend you have the balls to kill a major character. It would have made the most sense to kill Diggle or Felicty due to the fact that they have both been nothing more than Oliver's moral compass, and as you can see in S4 Oliver can make good choices, and has his own moral compass now thanks to Diggle and Felicity in S1 through now.

You would also think as much as they've been try...

It's funny how Chris Rock and Kevin Hart kept trying to say that things should be more diverse and not racist, and then turn around to make a bunch of racist and pro-segregation comments for minutes on end.

I also find it funny that a couple years ago when we had 12 Years A Slave, and Precious, and other movies about slavery or Blacks done unto, they received Oscars and weren't really anything special aside from that, but no one said OscarsSoBlack or complained about ...

For a decent amount of comic book films an R-Rating has helped make the movie better. For the case of Daredevil, and The Wolverine, the theatracial versions were imo a 55/100, and I feel that the director's cut version of these film bumped them up to a 75/100.

Season 1 started out really strong and was really good until they pulled the whole "You're a piece of shit for hiding the fact that you were Daredevil from me"

"You're just a criminal, Matthew. "You're no different from them". Also, what the did with Kingpin's character completely removed any intimidation factor they hoped of keeping. Every time one slip up happens I'm just going to stuff my fat mouth full of Italian cake and cry ...

Trailer looked good until Foggy and Karen went on their justicefag routine. Hopefully both of them will die this season. I can't stand these Felicity type of characters.
