“Prometheus,” also distributed by Fox, was “loosely based” on the “Alien” franchise....

What? Hahahahaha this writer isn't for real, right? I dunno what kind of research they have done or if they have ever really watched the films, but that is like the most ridiculous thing I have read for a long time! LOL

At the cinema? Little heads up... movie is canned for good. Cinema. Dvd. Blu Ray. Streaming. It is gone! Sony is saying they now have absolutely no plan to release it at all.

So yeah, terrorists win.

Heroes that die and return later? Um... are you new to comics or something? Cause for decades, MANY decades, pretty much since hero comics came about, heroes dying and miraculously returning has been there. Maybe start watching different movies if this bothers you enough to tell the world about it.

Them saying DOFP ignores the past mistakes from the movie series and moves on better and fresh is comparable to throwing gasoline on a fire.

The past movie series as well as the new reboot are all full of inaccuracies that would make any true hardcore Marvel fan cringe. BUT if you look at them as just movies that are loosely based on popular comic books then their mistakes are excusable. But in all honestly the new film, as entertaining as it is, doesn't improve the repre...

a website that is named and supposedly specializing in horror movies, but puts godzilla on a horror movie list. makes them a complete failure. SCI FI, look it up!

Ahuh. But I still believe in having my own physical copy of what I purchase. If it's downloadable, fine. I get to keep that as long as my storage doesn't fail. But all this online purchase streaming and stuff... when the place or purchase ceases to be, my purchase goes along with it. Congratulations on being popular, but physical purchases better be here to stay.

The film fantastic four are considered to be the reboot version. And THAT is not the fantastic four. That is an abomination. As far removed from the comics the X Men movies may be, the characters are nearly identical representations of the comic versions, both in appearance and background. So I would prefer that they keep this idiotic version of the fantastic four away from the x men franchise.

Compare it to the source material instead. I like the X Men movies as movies. Just they are sometimes too removed from the material they are basing their stories on so I don't think of them as X Men movies. Just movies. Great superhero movies.

I'll wait until those involved give statements. I understand you wanting to dismiss the theories and information others are giving because it's different than that which you are sharing, but honestly, they have as much credibility as you do. You're quoting information from unnamed sources, just as they are. Who's right? Only those involved truly know. So yeah, I'll wait for them.

I liked the prequels. But I guess that's just because I'm a hardcore starwars nut. Even Jar Jar didn't make me hate them. Was the first movie I saw as a kid and to see the beginning of the story as an adult was like completing something unfinished from my childhood.

I don't know about anyone else, but the introduction of the rings in the first and then what they did with the Mandarin in the third was kind of a let down. Everything else was cool. The third wasn't that bad, just not the best of the series. The same with Raimi and his trilogy. The third wasn't as good as the first two but at the same time not a bad film. His trilogy was 10 times better than this reboot. Loved how he included some of his cinematic techniques from his Evil Dead fi...

You must know what storyline this movie is based on. And you must know how much they have changed it. That (which is a really big point) plus Ben, and the horrible reinvention of Superman makes this not DC.

If you and others enjoy it that's great man. Just for me and a lot of other diehard dc (and ever marvel) fans we're sick of the way they are being portrayed on screen. The reboot of the Fantastic Four is another travesty.

But I do hope you like it ...

Don't care. They can do whatever they want with this movie. I will NEVER consider it DC. They had a chance to use one of the best dc storylines EVER... and they are making it in THIS. It's too bad we may never see a decent film of this story.

It's too late. They have already decided to continue the story. I don't like it. Any normal fan of it wouldn't like it. And having Ford back for it seems like a bad idea. I don't want to remember him for being in some revamp grab for money from a classic film. I want to remember him for his outstanding part in the masterpiece that was the original.

Also, the number 1 version is with the narration.

Why? You're most welcome to bash him and say as many negative things as you want because having an opinion is your right, but for Star Wars fans they will just ignore it because they know the story about this. Feel free to research it yourself. You just may want to know something about the matter before making such a bold statement. Nobody likes having egg on their face.

His nephew explained the reasoning behind this a LONG time ago. So how is it a surprise or so unbelievable that he still hasn't changed his mind? Just because you're uninformed doesn't give you an excuse to bash him. Grow up.

Batman vs superman? Oh, you mean the destruction of one of the best storylines in comic history. I see. Thanks Ben.

I find this hard to believe. Every episode has focused on the Skywalker family. Is Ford going to have a big part? Obviously! But to say the Skywalker twins will be a much less significant role is just crazy, even for rumor makers. The only way it would make sense is that the Skywalker children are going to be the stars with the parents and uncle in the background. And when being a background character, having a bigger role could be considered a couple more lines. No biggy.

Incarnation? This isn't fantastic four. This is a movie with four superheroes. that's it. A fantastic four movie would have to have authentic representations of the characters from the comic. This movie doesn't. Simple. There were 2 fantastic four movies. For now they are the only 2 fantastic four movies. Even the unreleased fantastic four movie is more authentic than what THIS movie is.
