I am really curious to see how they will do this. I think they will go back to the fact that he is a more cerebral guy who gets drawn into action but is not a one-man army.
I am guessing it is four vs three due to what happened recently. A before and after sort of thing?
There are several books in the series so if the movie hits, you can expect more.
They are ramping up production. The author has a new book in the series coming and his p.r. is active behind it. I like to see he is behind it not basically the well they took my story I got paid, and we will see what they do. His camp is pushing the new film hard so it seems as if the author is very much behind the film.
The biggest issue is that the premise is limiting. You have to basically have creatures go on a rampage every film.
Good point.
I have not seen the first two yet. I guess it is time to start so when our Granddaughters says she wants to see it we are ready.
I am so glad I am not the only one who saw the skull and thought of the book.
I think the concern is that the three films that came before it all earned over 1 billion dollars and this one may struggle to break even according so some analysts. It was the most expensive film in the series when you factor in that 70% of the film was reshot.
Terrible release schedule. We said the moment it changed Directors that opening just after Deadpool 2 and Infinity War was a mistake especially with Incredibles 2 and Jurassic World 2 soon after. Dec. was much better. It was also just 5 months after TLJ which despite making a ton of money had fan backlash.
They also were very late with the first trailer so you did not have a long buildup. TFA had a teaser 1 year before it was released as an example.
It was good. Starts slow but is a fun adventure with lots of nod to other films and the Expanded Universe.
They showed a lot more at Cinemacon. I would expect a larger trailer with Deadpool 2. The big thing was that even what was shown at Cinemacon did not give a clear look at what the film is. The final third was reshot to make it darker and have less humor so we have to see as it is very difficult to see what the tone is. I am not sure the Predators would dabble with genetics unless they had a threat they could not handle.
It is funny all the people bashing this and saying they will Boycott, yet the advanced ticket sales crushed Black Panther and are second only to Infinity War. I bet people will be complaining as they exit the cinema and get back in line for the next showing just like Comic Book Guy.
it's been a hit with critics and fans.
Lando is all about style and image. Han doesn't care. He put his effort into performance not visuals for the ship.
Disney not bringing any stars was a shock.
I was really impressed with all the reveals at Cinemacon this year as well as the number of celebrities at the award show.
It got mixed reviews there. People either loved it or said they were not sure and needed to see more to make a final decision.
It was a sketch video at Cinemacon.
Looks like some really good stuff. Seeing how the movie side is not having a big presence, I figured this would be where they focused on.
