nice review! I loved the visuals, even though the story line and plot was a little weak. I guess to your point, the fear of being white-washed has just been realized. I just put up my review as well, and it's mostly inline with what you've put up. :)

both were great!..but the thrill of seeing the avengers assemble in the first movie..didn't top that for me. this is a very very close second (considering there are just 2) - LOL
totally agree. I'm pretty confident that Batfleck, will do just fine. in fact I'm even rooting for him. Eisenberg is going to screw it up. :(
lol - hard to say, might be exciting given that they're changing the origin story a bit, and they're going with a slightly darker tone.

well, we did think about 'the odd couple', but after reading it's previews et al, we didn't think it would make it into our list of "most anticipated", but yes, it should be a good show nonetheless :)

Man of steel was a half way decent 'pop corn' flick. So was crocodile Dundee 3.
Well, no one wants it to fail either, but with so many moving parts and an ambitious story line, it's not looking good.

Yeah, it came a few days ago. Not sure if they'll make a live action film as such with the new 52, it is possible that in some future movies, they may give a nod to the new costumes in some manner.
but nothing as such is confirmed anywhere.
