The synopsis sounds okay to me. I think it sounds like it might be good.
They'll probably cancel it after 1 series because they are idiots, so I won't watch until anrenewal is confirmed, and will be doing this for every Fox show from now on.

I think for the most part, but I would have liked if they showed a few things that happened after. It feels like they left a couple of things in the air, so if they do get another episode or whatever, they could still do one.
Actually, it doesn't look that bad. Way better than I was expecting, enough for me to give it a chance.

On topic - Can't wait to see this in HD. Hopefully they do eventually release extended editions because the LOTR extended editions are actually better than the theatrical versions.
He did great things for Star Trek, a film that I absolutely loved, yet I hate the TV series. So I think this is a great choice.
If you watch the Star Wars films now (i.e. if you'd never seen them before) you'd realize that there is actually quite a lot of pointless cinematography. The films are just very long for the sake of being long.
