I think the only time people pay attention to movie reviews is for a movie theater showing, since they're not only paying a hefty chunk of money for the whole movie theater experience, but they're usually making an evening out of it. There's no real risk involved with a Netflix movie. If it's a bad movie, you can just stop watching it. No money lost, no real time lost, no big deal.
