I thought it was a 20 minute episode with double commercials instead of a double episode.
It is. Starring Breckin Meyer and Mark Paul Gosselar (sp?). Looks pretty entertaining. Their TV marketing campaign has been pretty unique - posing as those amateur produced local lawyer ads you see on local TV.
Yeah I'm looking forward to TNT's lineup. Falling Skies will (hopefully) give us the alien sci-fi story we need that The Event could not. I'll be reviewing Falling Skies and Franklin & Bash for The Voice Of TV.
For the better. I'd much rather be watching The Chicago Code at 9, despite it also being cancelled.
There is so much more wrong with this show than a bad timeslot anymore. I was rooting for the show in the first half of the season, but this second half has been horrendous.
Just not Dean Cain right?
I've seen only a few clips of random episodes, never seen the show. Always wanted to get into it. Don't know why I didn't, it was on the same night as 24 for a few seasons when that was on air.
Yeah I watched the Pilot and wasn't impressed. Was planning to at least give it a couple of weeks but I'll be honest, I simply forgot it was on. It had a convenient slot when it premiered - between The Office at 9PM and It's Always Sunny at 10PM.
The winter hiatus and time slot change hurt the ratings - it was a sure fire renewal before the changes, now it's hanging on to hope.
Apparently it is with it being the highest rated new drama in its demographic. USA is dominating basic cable right now. FX is steady, AMC is gaining, but USA is blowing them out of the water.
D'Onofrio returns to the show this season for the final year of the show.
I get a Sharon Stone vibe from the picture
Understandably there will be those who won't agree with me - and I applaud that. Shows that we all have different takes on what we watch.
Trust me you're not the only one. 2nd episode only rang in approx. 2.5 million viewers.
It was a fantastic episode. I was on my feet the whole time.
Jimmi Simpson is essentially the comedic relief for Breakout Kings. He doesn't really play a serious role as you may expect from this show. He keep the McPoyle in himself alive.
Adam Reed (creator) or H. Jon Benjamin (voice of Archer)?
With 24 now off-air though, would FOX get the audience to tune in to just a made for TV movie? Redemption was made more because the series was delayed a year so it was to fill us in on the year long hiatus.
I'm fully expecting the box office flick to be as simple minded as the TV show was in its later years - predictable plot twists, the "mole in CTU" trend, stuff like that - but now with the use of big budget special effects it could be a good thrill ride.
24: Redemption did a 2-hour premise and I thought it worked well. Unless of course they are planning twelve 2-hour flicks...now that would be one big expense. ;)
It will be an interesting test to see how well this movie would fare on the big screen. The show averaged approx. 9-12 million viewers a week in its final season, how many of those viewers will go shell out $10-20 for the a 2 hour movie?
I think fans want to see Jack Bauer fall, perhaps the movie will show just that - he can't go on forever.
Terra Nova takes place in the future as a family goes back in time to save mankind. It looks promising. I am looking forward to it, but I got Alcatraz a bit higher on my FOX list.
