Well it's April 1st, so that means one thing...you all are seriously gullible if you thought you were going to come in here and win a TV lol It's April Fool's, come on! No I'm kidding.
Seriously though, it means one thing: It's a new month, thus new contests here on FilmWatch. And yes, we really are giving away a TV this month. We'll be doing this sorta lotto-style. Details are below.
**********COMMENT CONTEST**********
Here's your chance to win a TV! This month, though, we're switching up the way we do the comment contest. For the month of April, all you have to do is make a minimum of 60 comments for the month (which will be a comment score of 600) and you'll be entered into the drawing. At the end of the month, we'll randomly draw a name from the pool of eligible members and that member will receive a brand new LCD HDTV!
That's just two comments per day. Want to gain an even better chance to win? For every 60 comments you make beyond that initial 60, I'll give you one more entry into the raffle (up to a max of 3 entries per member).
So there you have it, get to commenting and you could be adding another TV to your home to enjoy all those movies on by this time next month.
**********CONTRIBUTOR CONTEST**********
And to give our contributor's a little something, we'll also be holding a contributing contest as well. This will award the top two contributors for the month.
1st Place: 2 Movies of your choice
2nd Place: 1 Movie of your choice
*As always, the movies are for DVD or Blu-ray but only standard edition movies and movies already released by the end of the month.
*Also, spamming or cheating in any way will get you disqualified from competitions.
*And to make sure we can spread the prizes out, only one prize per member (starting with the TV). This means if you end up winning the raffle for the TV and you also come in first in the Contributor contest, then the contributor prizes will instead go to the 2nd and 3rd place members in that area.
Anime fans who enjoyed Frieren: Beyond Journey's End will be excited to know that Mallorie Rodak will be a guest at StocktonCon Summer 2024.
Supacell, the new Netflix UK six part series by Andrew Onwubolu aka Rapman, is about to redefine the superhero genre. Think of it as the all-Black X-Men show we’ve been craving, packed with action, drama, and superpowers. With an all-star cast featuring Tosin Cole from House Party 2023, Eric Kofi-Abrefa from BMF, and Adelayo Adedayo from “The Responder,” this show will be your radar this June 2024. Here’s everything you need to know about Supacell.
Big news for Gundam fans as Crunchyroll has announced it's bringing Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury and Cucuruz Doan's Island to Blu-Ray in September.
Definitely on my watch list. I heard The Witch From Mercury is a must watch for those beyond being a Gundam fan.
Wow a freakin' TV?! Awesome prize. Anyone would love that. The random draw at the end is a nice idea too, prevents spamming.
Holy snappin' That's huge!
Good luck one and all.
That's a pretty awesome prize. Would be cool if whoever won the blu-ray player, also got a TV to boot!
Pretty awesome! Ill still have a slight competition in my head for most comments haha, but no spam as always.
However, what size is this TV?
