Took a look at the original complaint thread on Resetera and the people commenting there sound far more intolerant and close-minded than anyone else.

To them, if your opinion is different to theirs you are a "scumbag".

Also, anyone who can dedicate so much vitriolic rage to few comments that aren't to their tastes must have a very easy sheltered life, Most people have far more important things to worry about.

I read the comments, they seemed like someone who was critically thinking and expressing their concerns , much like Mario Lopez, who was similarly shamed. Unfortunately you'll get left-slapped if you do this. Now should he do this on an official company platform? No, its not wise obviously.

Saying trans gender people are mentally ill might be incorrect. Really depends on the definition of gender identity disorder and more research probably needs to be done on this subject. I would say its a condition more than an illness but anyway, a company shouldn't have to apologize over what a couple of employees say.

Btw people saying freedom of speech doesn't give a right to bigotry are incorrect. Everyone has the right to say what they want and be a bigot if they want to. I'm not saying its good to be ignorant but people have a right to be. Donald Trump supporters are generally ignorant and we laugh at them in Europe but the US is a young country and has a good bit of evolving to do. However they are entitled to their opinion and one person's definition of a bigot might be very different to another's. what a load of crap, its not transphobic to think that its a bad idea to let a child decide there gender. If the child grows up to 18 and still wants to transition, then alright let them do it, they can do what they want once they have full knowledge of the consequences, but dont let them do it at such young ages.

there is a reason why we dont let children make huge decisions, there is a reason why we dont leave them along in by themselves, there is a reason why there is age restriction on violent moves/games/books/alcohol/toba cco etc.

Children are still growing and they do not always make the best choices, its our jobs as parents to guide them during there adolescent life so when they reach adult hood they can make their own decisions based on rational and logical thoughts instead of impulse and emotion.

You can see how little power resetera/ twitter has over anyone. The "controversy" they got from those comments they made is nothing compared to the ones they got after they apologized for it. They also went from "Overwhelmingly positive" to "Mixed" in 2 days all because they pandered to those handful of people. There were more negative reviews today then positive. They are loud and obnoxious but they are a small minority of people actually buying these products. In addition I see posts like this on Twitter to further this point

These people exist just to be internet activists, not actually caring about the industry or product but just any reaching acts of political injustice they see gets met with their toxic behavior. They don't buy anything you sell, and changing things for them is just alienating it for everyone who actually does buy it. Your apologies mean nothing they don't care even after all the work they put into it to pander to them.

I just lost major respect for them but I'll still buy their game regardless because it looks awesome.
