"Elmo has never been one of my favorite characters, his popularity grew quite a bit after Sesame Street stopped appealing to someone of my age at the time. I also got to live through the craziness that was the Christmas of Tickle Me Elmo during a period in my life where I was extra angsty. Yet, somehow there was something that vaguely interested me in the story behind Being Elmo: A Puppeteers Journey."
