Training is tough business when you fight for screen time with Thor, Hulk and Captain America.
Without the benefit of cushy computer-generated super powers, “The Avengers” gorgeous female contingent, Scarlett Johansson and Cobie Smulders, had to work twice as hard as the men.
Johansson, 28, plays the super hero team’s resident master spy, the Black Widow, in the film, which opens May 4, reprising her butt-kicking role from 2010’s “Iron Man 2.”

I think they did a good job with the screen time for most of the characters.
I think so too. I know they probably had to cut a lot out and try to keep as much in that was valuable to the story and still give each character the credit they were due.
