The Playlist:
As far as switcheroos go, director Spike Jonze can't really complain as his upcoming untitled effort has lost one hot young actress, only to be replaced by another.
Variety reports that citing scheduling issues (perhaps to do with her recent marriage to that Mumford & Sons dude?), Carey Mulligan has bounced out of the movie, with "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" star Rooney Mara lining up to replace her. Jonze penned the script that will apparently revolve around a man who falls in love with a Siri-like computer voice. Mara will finish up "The Bitter Pill" with Steven Soderbergh and then move on to this project, joining Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams and Samantha Morton. Fincher to Soderbergh to Malick to Jonze? Not bad.
Napoleon Review: Great music, a terrific Joaquin Phoenix and amazing storytelling.
Sony has just released Napoleon trailer #2 for Ridley Scott's latest historical epic starring Joaquin Phoenix.
This nightmare comedy dives into your worst fears. You could love it and you can hate it, but you should really see Beau is Afraid.
Rooney Mara should be a good addition to any movie. I really liked her on Girl With the Dragon Tatoo.
