Deadline:
Tate Taylor, who last wrote and directed the Best Picture nominee The Help, is in talks with Fox 2000 to write and direct The Jury. The film is a movie transfer of the Granada-produced 2002 British miniseries that was written by Peter Morgan and directed by Pete Travis. The mini focuses on the inner workings of the trial of a young Sikh student charged with murdering a classmate tormenter. The mini dug into the lives of the jurors and what propelled them as they moved toward a verdict. Gerard Butler and Mark Strong were part of the ensemble.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
I think this will make a great movie. I think I would like to see the whole mini series that was made in 2002 that Gerard Butler was in. I watched all the clips and it is good so I think the movie with fresh material and added drama depending and who plays who...would make for a very interesting movie.
