Gamevolution: The Cabin in the Woods Review

It’s funny. Scream already broke the horror formula down to its most basic components years ago. We’ve already been down to the marrow, but Cabin aspires to go even deeper by inventing new branches of the archetype to explore. In doing so, it breathes new life into a genre that really should have been bagged and tagged some time ago.

I haven't had a chance to get out to see this but maybe this week will be the week I can do that. The weather is going to be great and I think I'm going just get myself out there and go to a couple that I've missed this last couple of weeks.

For myself, it was a really enjoyable movie. The ending could have been better but then again what movie doesn't that apply to? It was just fun to finally see a movie that wasn't just same ol same ol.

I thought it might be a little different than your usual...so I won't be disappointed when I see it.

I'm very picky about what I see and try to find not a single review, but many reviewS from rottentomatoes as an indicator as to how a movie is... didn't need rotten for it as much as I thought. There are favorable reviews from critic and movie-goer alike, all around the web.

Me? I thought it was such a smart-ass movie. I may
give it some more of my money when it comes out to retail!

btw, loved the ending. ;)

I'm one of those people that just won't listen to critics. I might listen to people that talk about a movie a little more than critics.

However, if Joss Whedon is attached to any movie..I probably going to see it anyway no matter what anyone says...I just have to because I know it's going to be different in some way...may not know in what way but somehow he'll make it a little different.
