Universal Pictures has set David Levien and Brian Koppelman to write The Rockford Files, a feature adaptation of the memorable series that ran on NBC from 1974-80 and featured James Garner as the down and out private eye. The studio will develop the film as a star vehicle for Vince Vaughn to play Rockford, and Vaughn and Victoria Vaughn will produce through their U-based Wild West Picture Show Productions banner.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
I loved James Garner as Rockford and I loved The Rockford Files. I would love to see this show brought back with someone else playing Rockford but for some reason..and I really can't say why...I can't see Vince Vaughn as Rockford. Nothing against him...I just can't see it.
