The Collider:
I’m annoyed with teasers for trailers, but with Looper I’ll make an exception. Rian Johnson‘s sci-fi film is one of my most-anticipated of the year, and this tease only makes me more amped for the picture. For those unfamiliar with the flick, the futuristic thriller takes place in a world where time travel exists, but is only used on the black market. When the mob wants to kill someone, they send the target 30 years into the past where a contract killer (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) does the dirty work. Things are going smoothly until Gordon-Levitt’s future self (Bruce Willis) is sent into the past to be killed. I’ve been a little skeptical of the make-up job to make Gordon-Levitt look like Willis, but the tease puts my fears to rest because it works when you see it in motion.

I had no idea that the younger version of himself was ordered to go find and destroy the older version of himself...if he succeeded that would mean that the younger version of himself may not exist....interesting.
