Today, it was announced that Illumination has hired a couple of writers. John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky have been brought on to pen the script for the Woody Woodpecker adaptation. The two are best known for their work on Beavis and Butt-Head and King of the Hill.

I completely forgot about this being made into a movie. I know they talked about it a while ago. I have to say, there is zero interest in it for me. I honestly didn't care for the original cartoons as a kid, so even nostalgia won't get me there.
I feel the same on that as far as seeing a movie about Woody Woodpecker...or any of the other cartoon characters that are out there.
