Empire:
Back in January there was a kerfuffule of fan annoyance over reports that, at the behest of Chuck Norris, Sylvester Stallone was aiming the Expendables sequel at a PG-13 certificate from the MPAA. AICN however, picked up rumblings from Stallone a couple of weeks ago that an R-rating was back on the table for Expendables 2. And speaking to Empire over the weekend, Dolph Lundgren confirmed that he's been hearing the same thing.
"I heard that it's now R again," says Dolph. "Stallone's basic setting is to make it very violent. That's just in his personality, and if it was me I would do the same. I guess the producers figure they can make another $50m if it's PG-13, and if it was my money I might say the same thing! But I think for the fans, if it's tougher it's better."
The upcoming R-rated TMNT: The Last Ronin film is exactly what the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise needs.
Revelations Review: This movie might not be Yeon Sang-ho's best work, but it explores human nature and beliefs in an entertaining, thrilling, and crisp way.
Thragg has also been cast, the show has confirmed
I think it should be rated R because you know that it's only because of the language and violence and I pretty much think it's going to be about as violent as anything can get and grown men in battle don't exactly say 'please' and 'thank you' while they're in the middle of their battles with the bad guys.
good to know but, that makes it sound like Dolph is not in the movie or it hasnt even started yet if they are just confirming a rating
or it always been Rated R all along?
Well that's good news, even though the first one ended up sucking I still do want to see this in hopes that it'll be better.
Awesome.
Thank god.
